M&M Kerr operate a fleet of 20 tractor and refrigerated trailer units from premises in Castle Douglas, south-west Scotland.
The units are fully equipped with satellite location tracking and temperature monitoring. Our high-spec tractor units are divided between Swedish makers Scania and Volvo.
Because of our commitment to reliability, our tractor units are generally replaced every five years and all inspections and maintenance are carried out at our own workshop in Castle Douglas.
Our single bay vehicle maintenance building is well-equipped and contains Texa diagnostic equipment to cope with today’s electrically complex vehicles.
Similarly, our trailer units are replaced every six years.
Thermo King temperature control tracking gives real time on-trailer interior temperatures, auxiliary fuel tank levels and the trailer's position in addition to a range of other useful data.
All our trailer interiors are fitted with stainless steel sidewall panels, meat rails and hooks.
